This project from PCHG comes in the form of photo essay book. Printed in Japan on cotton paper.
We landed in Tokyo during the winter of 2015 and were lucky to end up in Musashi-Koyama. This book is a visual exploration of our quiet neighbourhood and its endlessly fascinating elements.
This area has a beautiful sense of scale that frames simple human interactions. Coupled with a haphazard approach to the built environment, there's a rich, textural interplay that we wanted to capture.
